Shiny Little Lights (Live in Historic Downtown Franklin)
"Miles of Garden" was filmed over the course of a day in Historic Franklin, TN's Carnton Plantation. The plantation served as a hospital for soldiers during the civil war. The house also has a beautiful garden and lush landscape all around. The day ended with a historically accurate vintage baseball game.
Tim Wiencek performs the title track "The Only Truth" live in a Nashville basement, off his upcoming new album. Special thanks to Jason White and Amaia Agirre for lending their talents. The full length album will be available for streaming and purchase in the next few months.
When I was around a year old, my mom would put these tiny cassette tapes into the base of a 20" Elvis Presley doll and I'd dance my butt off to each song. Later In my teens I formed several punk bands inspired by the raw energy of bands like Misfits, Ramones, and Operation Ivey. This rebel feeling never left and in a way it fully resonated years later when I heard one voice that caused the musical and literary side of my brain to explode, Mr. Bob Dylan. After that It was clear what direction I was going to go. Innovators like Bob, Beatles, Beck, opened the doors to a brand new arena of creativity for me. I approach my own writing, melodies, and ideas not only from the inspiration of artists like these, but from observations of nature, space, and the unknowable.
I currently reside in Nashville, TN.
